TITAN WHEEL NUTS FOR YOUR EVO.

set of 20
Pre treated
Grade 6

Titanium melts at just under 1700 deg c (steel approx 1300)

QUESTIONS: FAQ STYLE

Whats wrong with using Alloy nuts?
A:Nothing however after time they get tired they get hot and cold and become fatigued, eventually working themselsves off, usaully the poorer quality alloy nuts don't last very long at all.

WHY SHOULD I USE YOUR LUG NUTS:
Ours are made using the highest quality Japanese Nippon Titanium (which is the best titanium)
and the latest technology
The unsprung weight factor of 80% saving over factory weight.

What is the Weight:

The weight difference is quite large

an average factory nut weighs in approx 110grams
these weigh 28g (approx 3 *.20c pieces )

to answer a PM
and a good question.

These are designed for the aftermarket wheel.
Volk,WEDSPORT,ENEKI,ADVAN

there for won't fit factory wheels due to the locating design on the factory wheel.

However i have already got the tooling design ready for the OEM lug nuts
rob 240

Will these deal with the constant heat changes better then my Dura Nuts that come lose all the time?
Ryan@Just JDM
okay,

DURA NUTS are one of the best in the market, however they do nut deal with heat temps that well,
they are great for awhile but they do loose their strength and do tire.

The grade of alloy used in RAYS is a Duralumin,
this metal is a harder compound than standard aluminium.

Very strong great for impact.

However,
it is not designed for racecars unless you are changing them on a constant basis.

and for anyone who has done circuit work with alloy nuts may of noticed that their wheel nuts come loose after while

I know mine went soft, so did Pete's and several other guys and it's not from not checking them or not doing them up tight.

so you need to constantly replace them

As the consistant changes in temp contracting and expanding truly just fatigue the metal

However titanium dosen't work that way titanium absorbs heat holds heat to a certain point,

but the critical point is the correct grade.
