Yes GTPUMPS were there!
Due to getting in too late I was unable to have a trade display at the EVO nationals however we were able to demo the Traqmate system on Rob's (EVO090) EVO9.

I installed the system in about 15mins. See pictures and track data below. Anybody who is serious about track days needs this type of equipment to extract the best time possible. It is also absolutely fantastic for comparing cars and drivers.

T, I agree. That is fantastic. Cost is $1698 though. You'd need to be pretty keen to cut those few tenths but then there's plenty of drivers who are........

Plenty o people spend that much cash on engine parts to get subsecond gains (300477? smile.gif).

One good thing about this gadget is that you get to see your lap time each time around (I don't think the DL1 does that), and don't have to set up a trackside beacon and carry a 12 volt battery around right?

In car lap timing is good because you can experiment with different lines etc., and evaluate how well things worked whilst still on the track...

With telemetry and gps position etc., you can more quantitatively analyse how well those big $ mods are working out too (ie: measure how much ralliart AYC ECU is affecting your corner entry/exit speeds etc)!

Still outa my price range tho.. sad.gif

Cheers,
Scott.

T you haven't seen the half of it.

I was very impressed.

GT, if anyone wants to view the software with my file please email it to them as you did me.

Guys once you get the software and my actual Wakefield file play around with it and see how good it is.

Pete and I recently purchased a timers and it doesn't do 1/4 of what this does. It is very good.

I don't know if it will do 1/4 miles times but it does EVERYTHING else

Robert has given me permission to share his EVO nationals Wakefield data file.

Robert's data file can be downloaded here:

Traqview software can be download from here. (The full version is always available as a free download).
