HKS OIL COOLER,
single setup replacement shown.

Complete with Heat shield and air guides this is a full kit using braided lines and is basically double the size of a Evo 8 factory oil cooler.
This also runs in conjunction with your waterspray setup and a direct feed is flush onto the core for extra cooling and in the kit is a cooling vent that goes on the side of the bar to cause a negative PSI drop which causes a vacuum to exit any unwanted hot air.
So why change it?ok..
Hot oil means a hot car.....when oil runs hot so too does your water the oil is the blood of the car if it runs cool so does your car.
why not buy a universal core.Sure a universal core will work... however.
you need to
mount it
shield it
locate it
braided lines
oil line fittings
and oh.. also make sure it does the job.
and = a big headache and a shitload of time.
So stick with what you know....
HKS OIL COOLER KITS
Everything comes in the kit to make it a easy install and does the job first time everytime.

yep.
takes a good 5 minutes of cool down driving to bring it to a fit state to park the car.

ok so how did the HKS cooler rate on the track?
in the 7 oil hung around 140-150
using the HKS oil cooler it peeked at 122 deg now thats pretty reasonable drop in my book,
So yes they do work
are they worth the money
100% no questions asked,
How important is your motor?

to answer a pm,
Does everything come in the kit to fit my Evo 8 do i need to cut into my bar?
Yes everything comes in the kit to fit your Evo 7,8,9
The only time you need to cut into the bar is if you choose to run the HKS low psi outlet vent.
