Glenney and Yokohama AO50s reset lap record and show the opposition a clean pair of heels at Oran parks farewell
Qualifying.
In the qualifying session Glenney in the Mount Vincent Evo X set the pace with a 1.16.1 second lap time resetting the lap record for the manufacturers Championship class that will now never be beaten as the track will close in December. This was over a full second clear of the nearest rival Bob Pearson in the Pro- Duct backed Evo X (Bridgestone RE55) and Lee Castle in the Wilson Brothers Racing WRX a further second behind (Dunlop R).
Race One
The Mount Vincent Evo X was slow off the mark in race one due to a clutch plate welding itself to the flywheel and losing a lot of pace on the start line. Glenney was forced to finish the race without any clutch whatsoever and in a display of driving brilliance managed to hang on and finish in an amazing fourth place.

Race Two
Despite Rod Salmon getting the jump and leading into turn one in the TMR backed SKWIRK Evo Glenney was able to pass and maintain the lead for the duration of the race taking a convincing victory from Lee Castle in the WRX and Salmon in third position.
Race three
Reverse grid handicap race. After starting from the rear of the grid with a full field of cars Steve Glenney showed his true colours and passed the entire field to take a convincing victory by the FULL LENGTH OF THE MAIN STRAIGHT in the 12 lap finale. Not only did this display the ability of Glenney as a driver and the EVO X as a race car but also the AO50 tyres held the distance and Glenney was still putting distance on competitors in the final lap.
