I have put more time into the snorkel headlamp and these are getting closer and closer to being finished.






Similar to this it will be a direct feed into the airbox or direct onto the filter it's self.

Fine for the street, and won't affect headlamp beam.
I have had numerous enquires so lets get the ball rolling.

This will work in JDM and ADM models

ME :D , I like the idea we talked about of me sending you my lamp & not doing an exchange unit, then I will know the condition I will get back in.

Just let me know final price once you know, the end of the day this is a far better option in my opinion than the C/F duct as I don’t have to keep changing units to drive on the street

i guess this renders all airbox intakes like the Monster Sport or Gruppe M useless really, cool design mind you and i wish this was out 6 months ago

I don't believe so. The Gruppe M is literally just a heat shield (the 'box' is open towards the front) and a snorkel, so the headlamp hole will be feeding air more or less towards the filter

Hey Ryan that looks rather tasty but does anyone know legally where you'd stand? My last car (180sx) had an intake in the headlight cover and the police were fine with that but I don't know what the go is with part of the headlight itself being used as an intake...

A: send your lamp down it gets the treatment and returned.
B: I buy a new lamp mod it and send it out.


I am trying to see what will work out best for you in terms of cost and time efficiency

Why don't you start a "purchase thread" ??

The idea goes like this -

1. You put up a new item for sale, it's not out for a while or you're hunting for EOI first up.

2. You create a thread that is ONLY for ppl to drop in their names to express interest or be counted as a definite purchase request - no maybe's or comments, name only. Maybe go so far as having it as Name + Expression, where expression = Certain or EOI.

3. Anything OTHER than a name would be deleted, no questions, no discussion - gone.

4. You can delete the whole thread after it's served it's purpose or you could keep a running thread and delete names after purchase.

Just a thought, it would save on emails and PMs clogging up.

few too many secrets out in those photos.....

i took time to look at these lights at the nats and they look as if they were OEM products well done on this mod guys!!!!

yup, had a good long sticky at them myself too - looked the goods, made the car sound like the turbo was sitting 3 feet in front of the car on the front straight, certainly didn't see any major intrusions inside the engine bay, I can see the provision for a flexi-hose directing or connecting air to a custom air box (I just so happen to have one of those stock looking customised air boxes sitting in my garage, hint hint)

This item is certainly on the shopping list.

this version also has a lamp installed for the Evo 6 since there is no room for a massive inlet.

Does that have a spot for the parker globe as well as hi/low beam?

I actually need a new passanger light... So if this could be used perminantly it'd be sweet...

looking at the lamp it won't be easy parks will have to go,
but braking down the lamp trying to see the best way to do it.

im pretty sure the park light is a ring around the main light, its simlilar to what some of the new bmw's have.
looks a treat.
im hoping HID's will fit in there fine and look ok, i hope so
