and Mark this will help you go around corners since you kept spinning with the old setup.
Guys i spoke to Jarrod from B.R he runs this same kit and I tell you a few people in chevs and mustangs have sore EGO'S
you want power- you want Buschur
I still blame the dodgy equipment supplied, put me in my car with a good set up & thing are differant

The Audi had more rear grip than a certain EVO, just ask Marty :D
Am so looking forward to see how this unit goes compared to the HKS3037, should be interesting :twisted:

Glad you guys are liking the kit. I do think its a really nice kit.
Here is a picture of it installed on my car with our polished exhaust manifold heatshield.
I also hold the record with this turbo as the fastest & quickest in the 1/4 mile with a best of 10.83 @ 133mph and the car put down 502 WHEEL horsepower on our mustang dyno and 403ft. trq.
*WRC*: Have fun with the new toy. It truly is alot FUN!

Just so the great customers of Just JDM know, these kits are here and ready to ship out asap. A simple weld of the downpipe and they are on their way to you. I also want to mention this kit comes with a lifetime warranty on the tubular exhaust manifold. You will simply will be amazed when you get this. You may not even want to put it on the car. Possibly just hang it in your den and look at it. Its a true work of art. IMO. If anyone has any questions please let either myself or Ryan (aol im'er extrordinaire) Small of JustJDM know about it. :D So get out there an chop up some bogans.

I have also been getting some questions regarding what other modifications are recommended for running a turbo kit of this calibur so I have made the list and here it is. This is based upon what we have found here at Buschur Racing to work best with this turbo kit.
Stock ecu tuned cars:
Intake & Exhaust
* 3" down pipe - This turbo kit comes with one so no worries there mate!
* 3" off road pipe or high flow cat
* 3" catback exhaust system
* Intake pipe and filter kit - Please remember this kit has a 4" compressor cover outlet. So you may need a reducer coupler depending on the size of your..... intake! Most intakes are 3".
* Manual boost controller
* Aftermarket fmic - This turbo kit comes with the outlete pipe off the turbo. You will be required to make the rest of your lower ic pipe connect as we can not make a different lower intercooler piping solution for each fmic available for the evo today.
* Ported intake manifold - This is optional but, does help with increased throttle response and horsepower
* Ported throttle body - This is optional but, does help with increased throttle response and horsepower.
Engine & Internals:
* Upgraded camshafts - For a stock ecu tuned cars 272 cams would be great as they will not require a spring or retainer upgrade.
* Upgraded headstuds
Fuel Components:
* 680-880cc injectors - This will be up to you or your tuner for this decision. Some tuners are capable of making a big injector like a 880cc injector work. Some can not.
Speak with your tuner regarding this aspect of your buil up.
* Upgraded fuel pump
Drivetrain:
* Upgraded clutch. Your stocker will not hold the power this turbo is capable of. Dont leave yourself stranded some where with all that power and literally no where to go. :D
These are the basics you will need in order to support this kit. So as long as you have these and you are ready for some serious hp the BR 3065 is ready for you!
***********************************
Standalone engine management cars:
Intake and Exhaust
* 3" down pipe - This turbo kit comes with one so no worries there mate!
* 3" off road pipe or high flow cat
* 3" catback exhaust system
* Intake pipe and filter kit - Please remember this kit has a 4" compressor cover outlet. So you may need a reducer coupler depending on the size of your..... intake! Most intakes are 3".
* Manual boost controller
* Aftermarket fmic - This turbo kit comes with the outlete pipe off the turbo. You will be required to make the rest of your lower ic pipe connect as we can not make a different lower intercooler piping solution for each fmic available for the evo today.
* Upgraded upper ic piping
* Upgraded bov
* Ported intake manifold - This is optional but, does help with increased throttle response and horsepower. These can be substituted for a SMIM.
* Ported throttle body - This is optional but, does help with increased throttle response and horsepower
Engine & Internals:
* Upgraded camshafts - For a standalones 280 cams or bigger would be better as long as your head can support a camshaft that size. Meaning upgraded valve train and such.
* Upgraded headstuds
* Upgraded pistons - This is suggestion. It does not 100% need to be done.
* Upgrade connecting rods - This is suggestion. It does not 100% need to be done.
Fuel Components:
* 1000cc injectors - You will most likely be running upgraded motor components which will alow you to run more boost more often. You might as well go with the injector that will not run out of fuel.
* BR double pumper fuel system - This is a BR exclusive and we will be in collaboration with JustJDM very very soon. This pump system is two fuel pumps in tank and can support 700-750 awhp. We have been doing this process for over a year now and will soon be bringing it to you.
* Fuel rail - The stock fuel rail is good for up to 700 awhp for what we have found so unless you plan on going more, there is no need for one. Save your money and buy your girl (meaning your car) something else real nice.
Drivetrain:
* Upgraded clutch. - If you have a standalone, I seriously hope you have a upgraded clutch! If not well.....................
If you have any questions regarding anything I stated above please let me know.

Thank you. What I have written above is not 100% set in stone that is what you MUST have but, that is what WE at Buschur Racing would suggest be done to the car.

I think it's a great list as it warns you if you don't have the supporting mods to hold that big powered turbo kit powerplant

I would generally ask Ryan about this but, how do you guys and gals get your HP numbers? As wrc said he got 255 atw's which to me sounds low to me but, I must be missing something.

Sorry mate that is Kw's, works out to be about 340hp atw's & about 450hp at the fly, also on the Gold Coast where it is stinkin hot & humid at this time of the year we run things a little safer
