Aftermarket Headers with 3.5mm thick Steam pipe and thick flanges

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Made to order headers;

a. 3.5mm thick steam pipe (mild steel)

b. 10mm thick flanges (re-faced flat after all welding work done!)

c. Option of OD 42mm for 2 litre engines or 47mm for stroker engines.

d. Optional brackets were made to use the stock header cover as shown!

Nothing fancy here but certainly an upgrade over stock!

$499 plus freight.

Cheers, ivan

I'm usually all for a welds function before form but couldn't he have spent 30 mins buzzing back the welds? It would make it so much more neater and lets face it, most of the cars on here prefer the look of an aftermarket manifold over actually needing one to increase flow. I don't mean to sound like a dick, just constructive criticism.

With these thicker elbow bend pipes, what you see on the finish top weld isn't the 1st weld, but the 2nd over weld. We do not grind over the welds for better finish look due to weakening of the welds.

Yes, can be better finish but all about pricing too.

1st would be performance, strength and durability.

You would sell a lot more if you posted back to back results on a stock car and on a modded 250+wkw car.

Hi Ivan,

I'm looking at doing a retune with Benny in the near future, currently running a stock oem manifold.

If you would like a guinea pig to do a back to back dyno, I am happy to offer up my car. I have already got a baseline for 98 tune so would be going back to retweak that and then an E85 tune as well

Anyways. let me know.

Cheers JD

All tested with good results and are sold out.

I do have stainless steel ones in stock, $399 plus freight. These are 2.2mm stainless steel SS304 pipes and are shaped form to the face of the cylinder, means these pipes foes thru the flange.

Cheers, ivan
